Smyia Ahmed joined Davis & Co in September 2021, after having taken a career break to raise her young family. Prior to that she gained 11 years’ experience as an Associate Solicitor at a medium sized law firm in Nottingham.
Smyia has expertise in a wide range of residential property transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of part, transfers of equity, matrimonial transfers, re-mortgages, auction sales, Islamic mortgages and probate sales.
She prides herself on her attention to detail and always going the extra mile to ensure that she achieves the best outcome for clients. Smyia supports Rose and Sherrie on their files by investigating title, interpreting searches, raising enquiries, drafting and preparing reports on title. This collaborative way of working ensures that transactions progress seamlessly and without delay.
